What's New
A running history of improvements to Timelinely. We ship updates regularly — here's what's changed.
May 2026
More media, clearer uploads
- You can now upload photos in WebP format and videos straight from your phone or camera as .mov — they're converted automatically so they play smoothly for every viewer.
- Adding a card now starts with a content-type picker — choose Photo, Video, Map, Link, or Audio, so it's clear what you can attach and how.
- File uploads show a live progress percentage, tell you the size limit up front, and flag an oversized file right away instead of after a long wait.
- Faster video processing when you upload a clip.
March 2026
Embeds, help, and a tidier timeline
- Responsive embeds — an embedded timeline now resizes to fit any website, on any screen size.
- A new Help Center with searchable articles and FAQs.
- Cleaner dense timelines — closely-spaced annotations now cluster together instead of overlapping.
- A clearer draft and editing state while you're building a timeline.
- Automated content moderation on uploaded images.
